Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Barrel Proof

Tennessee whiskey from select barrels (no blending) bottled straight from the barrel. Made with 80% corn, 12% rye and 8% barley then charcoal mellowed. This is an aromatic and surprisingly smooth (considering the proof which can range from 125 up to 140) whiskey, with notes of sweet brown sugar that give way to rich toasted oak and dark peppery spice, best savored neat or with a few cubes of ice. Or, use in a 'Boulevardier' cocktail made with 1 parts Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Barrel Proof, 1 part sweet vermouth and 1 part Campari garnished with a cherry or lemon twist (similar to a Negroni, but substituting whiskey for the gin).

Glenmorangie 4-pack

Pack containing four different single malt scotches from Glenmorangie.The Original 10 Year Old has aromas of fruit and vanilla and soft, floral flavors with a hint of lemon. The LaSanta is aged an extra 2 years in sherry casks. Aromas of chocolate and toffee with flavors of oranges, walnuts and butter toffee. Quinta Ruban is aged in port wine casks an extra 2 years. Aromas of mandarin oranges and spices with flavors of dark chocolate and walnuts. Nectar D'Or is aged in French Sauterne casks and has aromas of gingerbread and vanilla with flavors of lemon, toasted almonds and honey. Aberlour 12 Yr. Scotch

- Single malt whiskey aged 12 years imported from Scotland. Four onion-shaped pot stills produce a fruity, versatile medium-bodied spirit. Double cask maturation in a mix of rare ex-sherry butts and ex-bourbon casks - a perfect balance of flavors. When bottled, whiskies from the two different types of casks are brought together for the first time and the different flavors and textures are subtly merged. From this intricate process of double casking emerges a single malt of rewarding complexity and character, with a wide spectrum of flavors: soft, rounded and sherried.

Ardbeg 10 Yr

Single Malt Scotch from the island of Islay, off the coast of Scotland. This is a true Islay malt - full of peaty, smoky flavors. Non chill-filtered and 46% ABV (92 proof) to retain maximum flavor, body and depth. Aromas of intense smoky fruit, peat, with hints of lemon and lime. Exploding flavors of peat, tangy lemon/lime, black pepper, and cinnamon-spiced toffee. Jim Murray, author of the Whisky Bible says, 'To me Ardbeg is - and always has been - the most complex malt on earth.' and named it the Best Single Malt (10 Years & Under) for 2012 and gave it 97 points. Serve straight, with a few drops of water or a cube or two.

Ardmore Scotch

Single malt scotch imported from the Highlands area of Scotland. Ardmore breaks from the traditional Highland malts and adds peat flavors (more like the malts from Islay). Ardmore has full, rich flavors with subtle peat-smoke tones. Bottled at 92 proof and non-chill filtered (believed to preserve the natural flavors - the scotch may become hazy when chilled). Serve straight up, on the rocks or with just a touch of spring water.

Auchentoshan American Oak

Triple distilled single malt Scotch from the Lowlands of Scotland. This replaces Auchentoshan Classic. Matured solely in first-filled American bourbon barrels. Vanilla and coconut with clean citrus zest flavors. Add to hot chocolate or mix 2 oz. Auchentoshan American Oak with 4 oz. apple juice in a highball glass filled with ice and garnish with a wedge of lime for an 'American Oak Apple Vanilla.'

Auchentoshen Classic

Single malt from the Lowland area of Scotland. Triple distilled. F. Paul Pacult says 'the taste is so sweet and so succulent that if you are alone, you want to smack your lips.' A great introduction to single malt Scotch.

Ballantines Scotch

Blended Scotch whiskey blended and bottled in Scotland. Forty-two single malt whiskies are blended together to produce a Scotch with a smokey bouquet like the Highland malts, the peaty body of the Island malts, and the sweetness of the Lowland malts. This is a particularly sweet Scotch.

Balvenie Doublewood Single Malt

Aged in two different casks: one traditional whiskey oak, one sherry oak producing a deep more complex flavor. Rich, mellow flavor with depth and complexity.

Balvenie 14 yr Caribbean Cask

Single malt whiskey imported from Scotland. Balvenie Caribbean Cask is aged for 14 years in traditional oak whiskey casks, then aged for several months in rum casks. Rich, sweet and creamy toffee on the nose combines with fresh fruit notes. Rounded flavors of vanilla and sweet oak with a fruity character that develops with time. Soft, lingering finish. Serve straight, with a splash of water, or over a just a few ice cubes.

The Black Grouse

Scotch imported from Scotland. More intense than its parent brand - The Famous Grouse. Peaty-smoke aromas, with traces of golden raw sugar, malt and oak. Smooth, smoky-sweet flavors with hints of cocoa and spice. Long, peaty finish with a gentle smokiness, giving way to a resonant oaky note. Scotch expert Jim Murray gives it 94 points. Serve over ice or straight up with perhaps just a few drops of spring water to open up the flavors.

Buchanan's Deluxe 12 YO

Blended Scotch whiskey produced at the Dalwhinnie distillery in Scotland. Fresh, honey-like, vanilla aroma. Rich malt, with vanilla, fruity notes and soft, peaty taste. Long, intense finish with notes of sweetness and peat. A Gold Medal winner at the 2015 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Mix with pineapple juice for a 'Buchanita' or with coconut water or in a traditional Manhattan.

Bowmore Small Batch Scotch

Single Malt Scotch from the island of Islay in Scotland. The Bowmore Distillery was established in 1779 and is the oldest distillery on Islay (famous for its single malt distilleries). Aged in first and second fill bourbon casks - the first fill casks add sweet and spicy overtones while the second fill adds oak and vanilla overtones. Aromas of vanilla fudge, sea air and peat smoke. Flavors of citrus, saltiness and vanilla with flakes of coconut, followed by soft peat smoke. A silver award winner at the 2-014 International Wine & Spirits Competition.

Bowmore Legend

Single malt 'from one of the great malt distilleries' according to Michael Jackson. Legend is a distinctly Islay Scotch with aromas of peat, briny salt air (the distillery is right on the ocean) , wet wool and smoke . A great introduction to single malt Scotch particularly those from the Islay region.

Bruichladdich Scottish Barley Single Malt Scotch

Single malt Scotch whisky crafted by Master Distiller Jim McEwan. Made from 100% organic Scottish barley, Bruichladdich Scottish Barley is unpeated, aged in American oak casks on the shores of the island of Islay and bottled at the distillery using Islay spring water. All the ingredients are sourced from the island. Non-chill filtered. An elegant, composed and vibrant spirit that showcases the absolute finesse, purity, and elegance of organically grown barley. There is a real sweetness on the palate - honey almonds, green jelly beans, pear drops all splashed with fresh lemons and balanced by the crispness of malted barley. This is a sipping whisky.

Chivas Regal Scotch

A blend of 12 year old Scotch whiskies, each distilled twice in copper pot stills. Produced at Strathisla, Scotland's oldest continuously operated distillery, located in the Speyside region of the Highlands. Gold/amber color. Aromas of apricots, pears and heather. Smoky, peaty flavors. Finishes with flavors of vanilla and butterscotch that linger. 'Kindred Spirits' gives it a **** (highly recommended) rating.

Cragganmore Single Malt Scotch

A Speyside malt aged 12 years. Golden color, firm body with medium smokiness. Very complex aroma. Delicate, clean flavor with large range of herbal flowery notes. Long finish. Cutty Sark Scotch

Blended Scotch made with 100% Scotch whiskies and aged for 12 years. Distilled and bottled in Scotland. First created in 1923. Green/gold color. Dry nose that blossoms as it aerates. Aromas of oak and cereal. Flavors of butter and raisins. Woody finish. A firm, well-structured blend. 'Kindred Spirits' gives it *** (recommended) rating.

Dalwhinnie Single Malt

Gentle northern Highlands malt with a light taste and fruity sweet aroma. Hint of heather and honey. Gold color. Firm, slightly oily body. Aged 15 years. Very long finish. Scored 76 out of 100 by renowned scotch critic Michael Jackson in his 'Complete Guide to Single Malt Scotch'.

Dewar's White Label Scratched Cask

Blended Scotch Whiskey. A blend of carefully selected single malt and single grain Scotch whiskies matured in oak casks for a minimum of 3 years. Then, finished in a selection of charred and scratched American oak casks, creating creamy vanilla and toasted oak flavors, with a hint of spice. Aromas of vanilla and honey, spiced with licorice and a dusting of nutmeg. Serve straight, over ice or with club soda for a 'Scratched & Soda.'

Dewar's 12 yr. Old

Twelve year old blended Scotch whisky distilled and bottled in Scotland. Select, individually aged 12 yr old malts from the different regions of Scotland are brought together in oak casks to 'marry' before blending. Medium amber hue. Off-dry scents of light peat and dried bitter orange. Flavors of pipe tobacco smoke, hard candy and black pepper. A light scotch. Medium long, slightly smoky finish . Bottle is cork finished. The best selling single malt whiskey in the world. (The Glenlivet is the best selling in the USA.) Very pale color. Light, fresh, fruity aroma. Light, firm but smooth body. Dryish, pear-like flavor with hints of smokiness, fruit and malt. Restrained finish. Scored 75 out of 100 by renowned scotch critic Michael Jackson in his 'Complete Guide to Single Malt Scotch'.

Glenfiddich Solera 15 Yr Single Malt

Single Malt Scotch from the Highland area of Scotland. Matured in three different types of casks - sherry casks, first used to age sherry, traditional bourbon casks from America and new oak casks, coopered from European timber. At the heart of this unique system is a large handcrafted oak cask called The Solera Vat which contains 15 year old Glenfiddich from the three different types of casks The Solera Vat is always kept at least half full, which ensures a consistent Single Malt. Full and fruity nose, with delicate honey and vanilla notes. Flavors of fruit, gentle spice and a touch of oakiness. Beverage Testing Institute gives it 91 points.

Glenlivet 18 yr. Single Malt

Single malt scotch from the Speyside region of the highlands. Glenlivet is the #1 selling single malt in the U.S. Deep gold color. Rich, sweet floral nose. Full, sweet flavors of nuts, dried apricots, vanilla and sherry with spicy overtones. Full, extended finish of toffee and nuts. Body is medium weight, soft and mellow. 'Kindred Spirits' gives it a **** (highly recommended) rating.

The Glenlivet 15 yr French Oak

Single Malt Scotch aged for 15 years in new Limousin oak casks usually reserved for aging wine. The aroma is intense and sweet with hints of cedar wood and citrus fruit. Full-flavored with notes of ripe mango, cinnamon and white pepper. Long, creamy finish balanced by a spicy dryness. International Spirits Challenge Gold Medal Winner in 2005.

Glenmorangie Lasanta

Single malt Scotch from the Northern Highlands of Scotland. Glenmorangie Lasanta is elegant, yet full-bodied single malt that has been extra matured for two years in Spanish oloroso sherry casks after a minimum ot ten years in bourbon casks. Aromas of chocolate covered raisins, honeycomb, and smooth caramel toffee with full, sweet flavors of Spanish sherry, orange segments, walnuts and butter toffee. Long finish with notes of spiced orange and chocolate. Serve straight-up, with a few drops of water or a cube or two.

Glenmorangie Nectar D'Or

Imported single malt Scotch whiskey that is aged twice - first in new American oak barrels that are used no more than twice and, second, in sauterne (expensive desert wine) casks. Aromas of lemon tart, creamy vanilla, lime and orange peel. Flavors of lemon tart, creme caramel and zesty lime. Notes of warming ginger, mellow nutmeg and toasted almonds melt into meringue and honeycomb for a 'nectar-like' flavor. Voted 'Best Highland Single Malt Whiskey' at the 2008 World Whiskies Awards. A sumptuous single malt - this is a sipping whiskey.

Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban

Single malt whiskey imported from Scotland. This voluptuous scotch is initially matured for ten years in bourbon casks before being extra matured in port casks from the vineyards or 'quintas' of Portugal. Quinta Ruban is the most intense whiskey in the extra-matured line. Aromas of just-peeled mandarin oranges, walnut shells, and the musky scent of sandalwood. Silk velvet on the tongue gives way to flavors of rich, dark chocolate covered walnuts and Turkish Delight. Finishes with hints of dark minty chocolate and orange. Serve straight-up, with a few drops of water or a cube or two.

William Grant's Scotch

Scotch whisky made and bottled in Scotland. Amber color. The nose is plump, oily and semi-sweet with notes of honey, oatmeal, and biscuit batter. The influences of Balvenie and Glenfiddich (which are also produced by William Grant and Sons) are evident. Flavors of almonds, toffee, chocolate and vanilla. 'Kindred Spirits' gives it a *** (recommended) rating.

Glenmorangie 10 yr Single Malt

Single Malt Scotch from the Northern Highlands of Scotland. Glenmorangie is Gaelic for 'The Glen of Tranquility'. It has been produced in the tallest copper pot stills in Scotland since 1843. Glenmorangie 10 Year old has a pale amber color and features a notes of floral, mandarin and vanilla with hints of honey. In Jim Murray's Whiskey Bible 2010, he states that Glenmorangie is 'Complexity at its most complex,' and awarded it a 94/100 rating. Serve straight up, over a few ice cubes or with a splash of spring water.

Glenmorangie 18 year

Imported Single Malt Scotch.. Once it has spent fifteen years maturing in American white oak casks approximately 30% is transferred into Spanish Oloroso casks to spend a further three years maturing. Then, when both elements have reached 18 years, they are , they are blended back together to create a whisky with a rich bouquet and full, rounded flavor. The Spirit Journal says it, 'Continues to be one to be one of the most luscious, satisfying and complex 18 year old malts in the marketplace.'

The Glenlivet Founder's Reserve

Single malt whiskey imported from Speyside region of Scotland. The Glenlivet Distillery was founded in 1824. Founder's Reserve has no age statement allowing the master distiller more freedom as to which barrels he uses in the blend. Aromas of citrus fruit, notably sweet orange. Sweet fruit notes of zesty oranges and pears with a hint of candy and toffee apples on the palate. Long, creamy smooth finish. This is a sipping whiskey.

Glenfiddich 18 YR Ancient Age

Single malt scotch distilled and bottled in Scotland. Some of the whisky used is older than the 18 years on the label. Aged in oloroso sherry, Spanish oak butts. Old gold color. Rich nose and mellow, rounded flavors with traces of sherry. Nutty, flowery finish with a hint of peat. Michael Jackson's 'Malt Whisky Companion' gives it 78 points.

Glenfiddich 14 yr. Bourbon Barrel Reserve

Imported single malt Scotch. Matured in bourbon barrels for 14 years then finished in charred new American oak bourbon barrels for rich, sweet, vibrant malt.

Glenfiddich 12 YR Special Reserve

Glenfiddich is the world’s most awarded single malt Scotch whiskey. Carefully matured in the finest American oak and European oak sherry casks for at least 12 years, it is mellowed in oak to create its sweet and subtle oak flavors. Creamy with a long, smooth and mellow finish.

Highland Park 12 YR. Single Malt

Single Malt Scotch imported from the Orkney Islands of Scotland - one of two northernmost distilleries in the country. 'Buying Guide to Spirits' gives it 96 points and says, 'A rich, full-bodied malt...that displays peaty richness and sea salt notes through the finish.' Paul Pacult's 'Kindred Spirits' takes it a step further and claims, Highland Park 12 Year, 'one of my top ten malts without any hesitation...a genuinely great single-malt experience.' He gives it Highest Recommendation status and gives it ***** (his highest rating).

Isle of Jura Single Malt

Golden color. Light, dry nose with a hint of sherry. Soft light body. Slightly sweet, salty flavor. Finish has a little malt and some saltiness. Considered a Highland malt. Scored 71 out of 100 by renowned scotch critic Michael Jackson in his 'Complete Guide to Single Malt Scotch'.

Johnnie Walker Black Scotch

Deep amber color. Deeper, darker, smokier and more complex than most other blended Scotch whiskies. Salty, high octane nose. Medium-bodied, smooth, slightly salty flavor. Peaty with overtones of apple, grape and malt. Kindred Spirits gives it a *** or Recommended rating.

Johnnie Walker Red Scotch

Blended Scotch whisky distilled and bottled in Scotland. A full-flavored Scotch that is a blend of Highland malt and Lowland grain whiskies. The number one selling Scotch in the world. Originally blended in 1909 for the new Scotch drinker who blended their Scotch with ice, water, soda or in a variety of cocktails. This was a break from the traditional deeply flavored Scotch whiskies of the past and was considered more mixable. Flavor has pronounced iodine/seaweed presence. Soft peaty finish.

Lagavulin Single Malt Scotch

Robust 16-year-old malt from the Islay region. Full amber color. Powerful sherry aroma. Full, smooth body. Smoky, peaty taste. Huge finish. Scored 95 out of 100 by renowned scotch critic Michael Jackson in his 'Complete Guide to Single Malt Scotch'.

Laphroaig Quarter Cask

Single malt Scotch imported from the island of Islay, off the western coast of Scotland. Laphroaig is characteristically a heavily peated Scotch, giving it a unique heavy smoke flavor mixed with salty sweetness. They are the only distillery to still malt and peat their own barley. Non-chill filtered and bottled at 96 proof. Aged in 'quarter casks,' which allows the spirit to have more contact with the wood, giving it a creamy taste with a gentle smoky sweetness on the finish. A good intro to the Laphroaig family of whiskies. Serve neat or on the rocks (better yet, use whiskey stones that chill but don't dilute the product).

Laphroig 10 year

Single malt Scotch imported from the island of Islay off the coast of Scotland. Laphroig is representative of the traditional Islay style of big, smoky scotches that have the aromas and flavors of the ocean that surrounds the island. Aromas of seaweed, iodine, peat and smoked fish, with a hint of sweetness. Flavors of the same with 'more exotic tastes of baked pear, toffee, and marshmallow' (according to F. Paul Pacult's Kindred Spirits 2). Serve straight (with perhaps a splash of water to bring out the flavors) or over ice.

Macallan Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch

Highland Single Malt Scotch from the Speyside region of Scotland. Bottled straight from the cask, without adding water to lower the proof which is 117 (most scotch is bottled at 80-86 proof)! The Spirit Journal says it has ' ripe, unabashedly sweet fruit aromas with sweet oak, oloroso sherry, fruit cake, dark chocolate and dark caramel...ambrosial flavors of Christmas pudding, honey, molasses and dark caramel...' and gives it **** (Highly Recommended). Do add a bit of spring water before drinking.

Macallan Single Malt 12 year

Amber color. Sherry and honey nose. Full smooth body. Taste has hints of currant. Rounded finish. From the Speyside district. Scored 91 out of 100 by renowned scotch critic Michael Jackson in his 'Complete Guide to Single Malt Scotch'.

The Macallan Fine Oak Scotch 10yr.

Single Malt Highland Scotch Whisky. Aged 10 years in a unique combination of bourbon and sherry oak casks. Pale straw color. Complex aromas with hints of fruit and heather honey. Soft texture with flavors of oak, fruit and malt. Lingering finish with notes of oak and fruit. Whisky Expert Jim Murray says the Macallan Fine Oak whiskies are ' a series of stunners, one after another hitting around the 90 (point) mark; it had never happened so often before from the same series of new whiskies.'

Single malt scotch from the Highland region of Scotland. Full-bodied, fruity, and aromatic.

McClelland's-Islay Single Malt

Single malt scotch from the island of Islay-one of the traditional scotch producing regions of Scotland. Full-bodied, smoky, with a complex flavor.

McClelland's-Lowland Sngl Mlt

Single malt scotch from the Lowland region of Scotland. Light in character, clean, with a hint of 'lemon grass'.

McClelland's-Speyside Single Malt

Monkey Shoulder

Small batch blended Scotch whiskey. A unique blend of three of Speyside's finest single malts (including Balvenie and Glenfiddich). Matured in first- fill bourbon casks. Monkey Shoulder is crafted in small batches of only 27 casks each. Sweet, rich vanilla flavor with brown sugar and creamy toffee notes balanced with oak and just a hint of spice. Gold award winner at both the 2011 International Wine & Spirits Competition and the International Spirits Challenge. Mix with Coke for a 'Monkey Coke'or with ginger ale, garnished with an orange wedge for a 'Ginger Monkey.'

Oban Single Malt - 14 yr.

Single malt scotch from the western highlands of Scotland. Brilliant gold amber hue. Aromas of peat, cream and smoke. Bold, robust and peaty flavors with an oaky, intensely smoky aftertaste The smoky finish is long and lingering. 'Kindred Spirits' gives it a *** (recommended) rating.

Talisker Scotch - 10 Yr.

From the only distillery from the Isle of Skye. Amber-red color. Pungent, slightly smoky aroma. Full body. Smoky with distinctive peppery character. The taste explodes on the palate and has a huge, long finish. Scored 90 out of 100 by renowned scotch critic Michael Jackson in his 'Complete Guide to Single Malt Scotch'.

Clan Mac Gregor Scotch

Domestically bottled scotch whiskey. The fifth largest selling Scotch in the U.S. Light bodied with mellow character. Received 'Impact' magazine's 'Hot Brand' award in 1993.

John Begg Blue Cap Scotch

Blended Scotch whisky that is bottled in the U.S. after aging for 36 months in Scotland. The John Begg distillery was established in 1845. This blend is slightly heavier than most blended Scotch which will appeal to those who appreciate a real 'Scotch' taste.

Imported, blended Scotch whisky that is bottled in the U.S.

S. S. Pierce Scotch

Blended Scotch whisky. The history of the S.S. Pierce company dates back to 1831.

Black Velvet Toasted Caramel

Caramel-flavored Canadian whiskey. Smooth whiskey infused with sweet caramel, balanced with warm, toasted notes. Mix with hot cider, in hot coffee, or as a different twist on classic cocktails. Slowly pour layers of 1 oz grenadine, 1 oz Black Velvet Toasted Caramel and 3 oz orange juice over the back of a spoon into a martini glass and garnish with a maraschino cherry and orange wheel for a 'Caramel Sunset.'

Cabin Fever Maple Whiskey

Maple spirit liqueur made with 100% Vermont maple syrup produced and bottled in Cleveland, Ohio. Cabin Fever is a 3 year old 80 proof barrel-aged spirit; not overly sweet. It starts with notes of peppery oak then quickly finishes with a distinct maple flavor and hints of caramel and butterscotch. Mix with: cola, ginger ale, cream soda, coffee, hot chocolate or use in tradtional 'Hot Toddy' recipes and for cooking.

Canadian Club 1858

Blended Canadian whiskey. The Canadian Club distillery was founded in 1858 by Hiram Walker. Still made and bottled in Canada. It is the only Canadian whiskey that is blended prior to aging. Aged for six years. Honey color. Nose of mash and cream. Flavors of cola, smoke, grain and caramel. Not as sweet as many other Canadians. Aftertaste of orange rind and toffee. 'Kindred Spirits' gives it a *** (recommended) rating.

Canadian Club Reserve 10yr

Canadian whiskey distilled and bottled in Canada. Barrel-blended which means that the different whiskies used are blended together in a barrel at the beginning of the maturation period rather than later as is the case with other blended whiskies. This allows more time for the flavors to marry. Aged in small, charred white oak barrels for 10 years rather than six like regular C.C. Serve neat, on the rocks or in Manhattans.

Crown Royal Regal Apple

Apple-flavored Canadian Whiskey. A blend of hand-selected smooth whiskies infused with natural apple flavors. The blend opens with a nose of bright apples balanced with signature Crown Royal whisky and hints of spice. Crown Royal Regal Apple offers a flavorful palate of slightly tart, crisp apple with notes of caramel and light spice that culminates in a full-bodied smooth finish of refined apple notes and balanced sweetness. Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon

Kentucky Straight Bourbon distilled in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. Four Roses has been made since the 1860's but has been mostly exported in recent years. Four Roses blends four unique bourbon recipes to create its distinct flavor. Aromas of sweet oak and caramel with a spicy, creamy, well-balanced flavor. The Spirit Journal gives it a five-star rating (its highest) and it won gold at bothe the 2008 and 2010 San Francisco World Spirits Competitions.

Hirsch Bourbon

Small batch bourbon whiskey. The history of Hirsch goes back to 1753 when John Schenk started the Bomberger's Distillery in Schaefferstown, Pennsylvania. It's believed that Schenk supplied whiskey to George Washington's troops. The original distillery is now a tourist attraction but the whiskey continues to be produced by Anchor Distilling of San Francisco. The Spirit Journal gives Hirsch its Highest Recommendation and calls it a 'world-class spirit.' Paul Pacult says that for the price, it is 'an incredible steal.' This is a sipping whiskey though can certainly be used in a Manhattan or an Old Fashion cocktail.

I.W. Harper Bourbon

Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. This iconic brand has been unavailable in the U.S. for 20 years. Isaac Wolfe (I. W.) Bernheim created the product in 1872. Harper was the name of his beloved horse. Made from 73% corn, 18% rye and 9% barley, the high corn content lends a lighter sweeter taste to the whiskey. Flavors of caramel and vanilla on entry before melting into velvety bursts of wood and spice. Featured in the James Bond novel and movie of the same name, 'Her Majesty's Secret Service.' Serve straight up or over ice.

Jeffersons Reserve Bourbon

Fifteen year old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky made in very small batches. A blend of three bourbons, including whiskey aged up to 20 years. Aged slowly, in slightly charred barrels.Walnut color. Jefferson's Bourbon

Very small batch bourbon handcrafted in Kentucky. Beverage Tasting Institute says it has 'Toffee nut and olive aromas. Round and silky entry with an off dry, buoyant medium body of rich toffee, peppery brown spices, and dried currant flavors. Finishes with a rich dried fruit, sweet caramel, and spice fade with a touch of minerality. Very lively and vibrant.' They give it a Highly Recommended rating.

Jim Beam Black

The Beverage Tasting Institute gives it 93 points for its overall nose, depth of flavor and finish.. Jim Beam Jacob's Ghost

Maker's Mark Cask Strength

Less tannins and not as intense wood flavors. Maker's Mark Cask Strength uses a lighter char on the barrels, which leads to a less aggressive burn, caramelizing in a softer way. Bourbon whiskey from Kentucky. Maker's Mark 46 starts with original Maker's Mark and adds seared oak staves (a narrow strip of wood used in forming part of the sides of a barrel, tub, or similar structure) to the barrels, then ages the whiskey for several more months. The result is slightly higher proof than the original (94 vs. 90) with aromas of toasty oak and caramel. Creamy flavors of caramel and vanilla and still soft on the tongue, even at 94 proof. Cinnamon-flavored American blended whiskey. Whiskey kicked up with the flavor of sweet cinnamon candy. A distinctive punch of spicy ground cinnamon that dials up the warm, woody whiskey character of the whiskey. Mix with cola and garnish with a wedge of fresh lime. Or, mix 1.5 oz. Jeremiah Weed Cinnamon Whiskey with 1 oz. heavy cream and 3 oz. chai tea in a mug (if hot - in a glass with ice, if cold) and garnish with grated nutmeg for a 'Whipped Weed.'

No. 14 Bourbon

Maple bourbon whiskey made by Vermont Spirits Company of Quechee, Vermont. Straight bourbon whiskey with the subtle sweetness of Vermont maple syrup, which softens the spirit and broadens its appeal to a variety of palates. The bourbon is aged five years in American oak barrels then blended with maple syrup to round out the flavor profile. (This is not a sweet flavored whiskey.) Smooth and fragrant. Mix 1 oz. No.14 Bourbon with � oz. Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur, 1 tsp. agave nectar and oz. fresh lemon juice, and garnish with fresh rosemary leaves for a 'Vermont Ginger' cocktail. Moonshine from Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Ole Smoky was Tennessee's first legal moonshine, made at the foot of the Smoky Mountains. Built on a 200-year heritage of making quality moonshine in East Tennessee. Ole Smoky Moonshine is 100% grain neutral spirit, distilled six times to be a pure, flavorless shine, perfect for mixing cocktails as an alternative to vodka or gin. Bold flavors of corn and rye. Fresh maraschino cherries soaked in Old Smoky 100-proof moonshine. An Appalachian party tradition. The cherries are 50-100 proof and 2 cherries equal a shot. Each cherry has a sweet entry with a warming finish. Once the cherries are all gone, use the remaining cherry moonshine to make the ultimate 'Cherry Coke' or alcohol-containing version of a 'Shirley Temple' (maybe save a cherry for a garnish).

WhistlePig 100 Whiskey

Straight rye whiskey produced in Canada and bottled in Shoreham, Vermont. Aged in new American oak barrels, made from 100% rye, and hand bottled at 100 proof. David Pickerell, formerly of Maker's Mark, is the master distiller. Aromas of allspice, ginger, nutmeg, clove, orange peel and anise with notes of charred oak and caramel. Warm, sweet and floral flavors with hints of vanilla and caramel, rye-spice and mint. The 'Spirit Journal' gives it five stars (its highest rating) and says WhistlePig is a 'sensational whiskey and straight rye at its zesty best.'

WhistlePig Whiskey 'TripleOne'

Aged rye whiskey bottled in Shoreham, Vermont. Aged for eleven years in bourbon barrels. Dark amber color. Woodsy aromas of oak, smoke, caramel and vanilla with a rich spiciness. Spicy flavors of clove, mint, anise, allspice, and ginger backed up by intense wood notes. Add a few drops of water and the spiciness steps back and a surprising note of Calvados (apple brandy) comes forward. Add a few more drops of water and hints of leather and burnt orange join the mix with a bit of dark chocolate on the finish. This is a sipping whiskey - serve straight, with spring water or just a bit of ice.

Silo White Whiskey

White Whiskey from Silo Distillery in Windsor, Vermont. Premium, flavorful spirit with a hint of sweet grain flavor. Made from locally grown grains sourced in the Connecticut River Valley, a region known for its rich soil and naturally clean water. SILO Whiskey
