Vermont DLC Opens Liquor Store in Jay Country Store
Montpelier, VT - The Vermont Department of Liquor Control is pleased to announce the Grand Opening of a new Liquor Store located inside the Jay Country Store in Jay, VT.
The store officially opened on Friday, May 26th with DLC Commissioner Patrick Delaney on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony with Tara Morse, Store Manager and Brent Leach, DLC Retail Coordinator, participating in the honors. The liquor area is separate from the general merchandise area. With its rustic, natural wood wall and ceilings, elegant glass shelving, and lots of natural lighting, the wide selection is beautifully highlighted. The DLC is proud to add this to our list of 80 locations around Vermont.
The Vermont Department of Liquor Control contributed, in 2016, over $23 million to the State’s economy through a network of well aligned Agency stores, which carry a wide selection of products from Vermont and around the world. The Department will continue to offer an enhanced experience for consumers and be a significant contributor to the Vermont General Fund.
